2016 - Day one at International Junior of Belgium

The first day of our competition was very shinny. Do not forget to consult our news about the weather.

Our French neighbour Pierre Pineau leads the field with the score of 67 today (-5). He played the first nine holes up to perfection : 5 under par at the turn. He came in even par on the last nine despite two bogeys at 11 and 15 but two birdies at 13 and 14. Obviously, he enjoyed the good advices from his charming Belgian caddy.

The first Belgian player (and 4th in the general ranking) is the 14 years old Mathieu Feron with the score of 71 (-1). He made a beautiful eagle on the 9th hole.

We can also note the good score of Jacob Skov Olesen (Den, -4) and Maxime Muraca (Swiss, -3).

The girls score are very good too. Many Italians girls are in the top of the leaderboard.

The Italian Emilie Paltrinieri won the Girls British Open Amateur Championship two weeks ago and is now leading with the score of 69 (-3) at the International Junior of Belgium.

She made a beautiful card with 5 birdies. Her friend Clara Manzalini is second with the score of 70 (-2).

Clémence Gendebien from Belgium is third with the score of 71 (-1).
